Renee currently chairs our Board.
She is a Partner at MPOBB in charge of the Intellectual Property Law and Commercial Law Team.
Her rich experience in intellectual property law and expertise in commercial law practice affords her the rare skill combination required to assist clients with their intellectual property issues that arise in commercial transactions.
Renee holds an LLB in Business and Finance Law (Brunel University, UK), MSc in International Management (Essex University, UK), a qualification in the Bar Vocational Course (Northumbria University, UK).
Renee was called to the Bar of England & Wales (2004) and Ghana Bar (2007).
She is a Member of Lincoln's Inn (UK) and Ghana Bar Association with over 16 years litigation experience. She is a Notary Public.
Founder & CEO with over 30 years' experience in investment banking, consulting, and public sector in Ghana & UK.
He is the Lead Advisor for the structuring of Public Private Partnerships projects. He has demonstrable expertise in undertaking technical and financial viability of large corporates and raising finance for viable projects on the local and international market.
As a transaction expert, Nuerte has provided professional advice to clients; improving their transaction outcomes and negotiated positions; and accelerated smooth transitions with minimal disruption. His project management expertise ensures that projects have been managed to the highest standards at all times.
Nuerte started his Investment Banking career in 1994 as an Analyst at Strategic African Securities (SAS). He eventually left as the Head, Securities Trading and Research after gaining extensive experience in equity and debt trading, privatisation, economic and capital market research.
He was the Head, SDC Brokerage Services Ltd in 1998. Here, Nuerte undertook major corporate finance transactions in the areas of corporate valuation, private placements, arranged the first debt equity swap between SSNIT and the Government of Ghana.
He also established their Research Department which became a leader in publishing economic research for corporate clients and emerging market funds.
Nuerte has also worked in the UK public sector where he was involved in policy research analysis, business strategy, business transformation programmes and project management.
He brings extensive experience in PPPs and large-scale project financing.
He has BA (Hons) degree in Economics and Accounting, University of Ghana (1993) and MBA (Finance), University of Durham Business School (2003).
Ing. Nii Kwashie is a Geo-Structural Engineer with over 25 years of experience by profession.
He obtained a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Western Ontario in Canada.
He is a member of the Ghana Institute of Engineers and the Canadian Society of Civil Engineers.
Nii Kwashie has worked as a lead geotechnical and structural design consultant as well as project manager on various projects in different parts of the world.
These have included the complex large pile foundation designs and seismic soil-structure interaction studies for nuclear power plants.
Gordon is an Electrical/Electronic Engineer and Financial Specialist with over 25 years' experience.
His expertise lies at the intersection of engineering, finance, research, and renewable energy.
Much of his career has resulted in significant proficiency in engineering designs, business and economic development, investment deal structuring, valuation, strategic analysis and planning, and project/program development and management.
He has several years of experience in Business Development, Private Equity, Consulting and Project Management. Majority of which has been from working with the Black Business Initiative in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
Gordon has rich experience across multi-sectoral environments and within diverse working cultures in advanced and emerging markets.
Gordon graduated from the KNUST, Ghana with a B.SC (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering (1994).
He obtained his MBA (Finance) from the Sobey Business School, Saint Mary University Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada (2001).
Gordon holds Project Management Professional (PMP) and Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations.
